Oh Christmas Tree...

For the first time in about six years, we did not go a-tree-hunting with my inlaws. They did not want to fell their own tree this year, so instead, we hunted this little number down at Home Depot. It is a perfect cone shape and was quite the steal at $22.49! ;)

Decorating it with both kids this year was a new and interesting experience. Took twice as long, but was probably twice as much fun, at least in hindsight... and surprisingly, nothing was broken. Pics of that coming later. ;) For now, I give you the annual tree pic and review of trees past.

2007 (yay for those window treatments and the carpet being gone this year!)


2006 (the year we somehow lost the tree skirt and there were none left at the stores when i went to buy a new one)


2005 (ah yes, window treatment attempt #1... those darn french doors just have always befuddled me)

2003 (was too busy being pregnant and throwing up every five minutes to take a tree picture, I suppose)
