Tom's co-workers are throwing him a baby shower today. How cute is that? He doesn't know about it and he never reads my blog anyway, so it will stay a surprise. Yay. I'm headed over there in about an hour when I get off of work.
I've been researching the symptoms I've been having lately (all the cramping and fun stuff). Apparently it has to do with a drop in progesterone and a rise in estrogen that occurs around week 36 to help prepare your body for labor. Long story short, it makes your body feel like your period is coming on. Oh, and here's the best part. It can continue for weeks before you actually go into labor. Isn't that wonderful? Yeah, I thought so too.
