Update: He's completely fine. Nothing else every happened and he was totally normal after the one incident. Very weird. And then Tom remembered that he drank two FULL (and I do mean full...) cups of chocolate whole milk at dinner the night before. We're pretty certain it was that because Tom realized he feels the same way if he drinks whole milk and for a similar amount of time. (we all drink skim around here)
Hoping we're right, but all signs point to yes. He never got a fever. Never got sick again and played normally the rest of the day. So very strange.
