I just discovered there is an entire ant society, probably four generations worth, existing in the ficus tree in my living room. (which is now on the deck until I figure out how to exterminate it)
Also, the ant traps I have put all over the first floor for the Annual Marching Of the Ants? (presumably to join their friends in the ficus) The ants actively avoid them. Nice.
