We have a Good Friday dinner tradition with my family and some family friends. This was the first year Ben was old enough to really "get" the whole egghunt idea. His godmother took it and ran with it, creating an elaborate path of string, eggs and little presents all over my parents' front and backyards. (don't even get my started on how over the top she went... but it is her right, being the godmother and all... ) ;) Benjamin had a blast and at the end found a whole basket filled with Star Wars figures, books and various other preschooler treasures.
As an aside, I am SO very glad he will soon *not* be an only child because really, it is a little silly (and embarassing) to see nine adults watching ONE little kid hunt eggs. Observe: (here are four of them)
But then again, I guess this is what my parents did witih me for nine years before my brother came along...
