Big Deal...

We were at the pool really early today and there was hardly anyone else there. I could tell Ben was itching to take the deep-end test (he has been working up to it for a few days now, ever since the Fourth of July party at Uncle Marc and Aunt Krystyna's where he figured out he could manage deep water and diving boards), but was worried he wouldn't be able to tread water long enough.

My friend Beth graciously took him out to the deep and, practiced for a minute or two with him, and then flagged the lifeguard down before Ben could change his mind. He took the test and passed it in about a minute like it was no big deal!!!

He was SO proud of himself and spent the rest of the day going off the diving board with his friends. :)

He has grown up so much just since summer started... so proud of him. :)
