Simon is sitting here at the kitchen table painting and the following two, completely opposite types of statements just came out of his mouth. Two statements that, when put together, very much paint an accurate picture (ha ha.. pun intended) of who he is.
"Look! The blue color is dissolving! Dissolving means something disappears in water."
And then just as I was feeling very impressed at his correct use of that word, he comes out with....
"I am making this painting all brown. See? It's a picture of poop. Poop that goes in the potty."
Smart kid. But oh so SUCH a boy.
